Gasco Energy Limited owns and operates an LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) marine terminal, storage, cylinder filling and cylinder testing facility in Malta with a storage capacity of 4,800 metric tonnes.
Gasco Energy is a 50/50 joint venture between Multigas Limited, a leading Maltese company manufacturing Industrial and medical gases and Liquigas SPA, Part of SHV Energy (NL), a global leader in the LPG sector present in over 20 countries. Gasco Energy Ltd has started its operations in July 2012.
Today Gasco operates a new state of the art and fully automated LPG bottling and storage facility at Benghajsa with an investment of over Euro 25 million. The new storage and bottling plant is classified as an upper tier establishment under the Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) Regulations and it is subject to regulatory inspections by the COMAH competent authority.
